Featured Firefox extensions for all :PART 1

Hey guys i have seen various post regarding the addons for Mozilla and many of them are quite useful but some of them are not as handy as user thinks..!!


Every addons has their own advantage and disadvantage.

So I'm going to pot down only those addons which are appreciated all over and are very handy!


1. Greasemonkey: Greasemonkey allows you to customize the look and feature of a webpage displays using small bits of JavaScript. You can optimize 1000's of scripts from http://userscripts.org and can optimize your browsing!

2. Speed dial : Speed dial gives a quick access the website you visit ona regular basis. when ever you open a tab it has quick link to the website you have configured it for. It will eb automatically loaded in a blank window or any new blank tab you open

3. CoolPreviews: It quickly enable us to see the preview of another link by just hovering mouse over the link. It is one of the recommended addon for mozilla and i like it as it makes my work very quick!

4. Customize Google: Who among us dont know google. Google is one of the top search engine and certainly the best. How about tweaking google a bit so that we can extrect more out of google..!!
Customize google is one of that addon which let us customize google in various way.
* It removes Unwanted ads and spam
* Add more search engine to google like yahoo,msn,Ask.com, msn and etc.
The best part is all features are optional and you can configure according to your need!

5. Bettergmail 2 : Gmail One of The email service which catches fire in a very short time. Since its a google 0fficial email client most of the Internet lover use gmail. Gmail once loaded is fast but there are many fatures which are missing in default gmail Like Attachment icons.
To cut the long story short It adds lots of features and skins to gmail.More you can read at there site.

6. Flashblock: Im very much p@r@noid about security and i'M very sure even you are! No one wants to give Any piece of chances to hacker to take advantage of any flows!
This addons is specially for those people whu stumble a lot or whu visit lotsa sites.!!
There are many sites which have embedded flash objects and at times they contains malicious code.


Flash block is one of such program which prevent any such chance of gettin infected by it!


In simple word it Blocks the flash and you can only allow those flash file to play!
So control will be in your hand..!!

7. Stumble upon: DO as simple as it state. It discover sites acording to your intrest or you can find more user who keep same interest as you!
You can even review a site or rate it!!
